The PAPAGAIO Project: A Global CollaborationÂ
The PAPAGAIO Project is implemented across five diverse countries: Sierra Leone, Brazil, India, South Africa and Zambia. Each country has its own unique healthcare system and maternal health challenges. Our country teams bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, and community partners to develop evidence-based solutions for pre-eclampsia and strengthen maternal health systems within their local contexts.
The trial will be conducted in approximately three to five hospitals in each country, reaching a total of 12–20 sites across Sierra Leone, Zambia, India, and Brazil.
